When you are praying for some issue like world peace, some people might say you are wasting valuable time. Nothing could be further from the truth. In praying for peace you are at peace with yourself. For once your ego is not in command. It is massive egos on all sides that give rise to so much violence and anxiety. All the wisdom traditions focus on peace and the mastery of the ego. Any advance in ego mastery is a massive victory for humanity .
