I wondered whether the tariff war between the US and China resulting on the Chinese applying a tariff on US LNG would hasten the construction of the Power of Siberia 2 gas pipeline, so I asked ChatGPT.
These interests me because it would accelerate the construction of gas fired power generation to supply the Mongolian capital Ulaanbaatar.
One possibility is to pipe say 200 TJ/day from the TMK Govantes gas fields Westward, connecting to the Power of Siberia 2 pipeline passing by Oyu Tolgo1 which would create a robust and reliable CSG infrastructure for Mongolia.
TMK gas could be backhauled to Ulaanbaatar using the PS2 pipeline to Ulaanbaatar.

Elixir and Jade could also be connected to the TMK-PS2 pipeline.
