Why would CTO waste their time and money on installing a make shift generator when it can hook up to the state grid and benefit from cheap electricity?

CTO is here to stay not in the makeshift business.

When DOM exhausts its limited resource, CTO will be producing at 300.000 oz/annum for at least another 30 years.

DOM needs to make as much money as it can to buy another mine - that's where its profits will end up.
