1 - They hedged gold they never had access to.

2 - They increased Tantalum supply and flooded the market,
hundreds of millions on a bigger tantalum plant and then the USA started dumping it back onto the market, the price went from over a hundred $ a ilb to less than $20.

3 - they invested around 100 million on a lithium carbornate plant that never produced a ilb.( the plant is still there rusting away if u care to look )

4 - They lived the life of kings, the Lahors that is and went out in style owning a billion.
