Acorn, There is much -ve sentiment about EVs in Australia at the moment. Did you see Gemma Tognallini's column in Saturday's Australian?
From my point of view , I like EV technology, but would only have one as a second car. I rarely take a long country drive, an EV charged at home would suit me 90% of the time but I wan't to be able to take a country drive if I wish. I don't have the patience to wait for hours at a charging station.
The decision on a second car would be purely financial.
