JIN's previous foray on the international stage was a costly experiment.
I believe that it was not wasted money as Mike and his team realised that JIN cannot compete with local competitors.
It was worth a try and fortunately the loss making overseas businesses have been closed and lessons have been learned.
Focusing on the Australian market has been very rewarding and JIN has invested into a world class software and platform.
I suspect that Mike's plan is to monetise the platform and software overseas by providing fee based services to established Lotto businesses in overseas markets.
The brand of the website will be the one of the local Lottery business in overseas markets but the technology platform and software will be provided by Jumbo. "Powered by Jumbo".
It will be like Intel Inside in computers.
My guess is that Mike is already in discussion with interested parties and we will hear something about deals during this financial year. (This is just my personal guess).
The over $15 Million jackpots in Australia for this financial year also appear to be substantially more than last year which will provide tailwind.
A growing Australian business and a growing dividend with a yield higher than interest in a savings account makes waiting OK.
Let's see where this exciting financial year will bring us.
