Could potentially be that the partners wanted to promote the tournament, but Mogul thought it best to not do so without an announcement to shareholders, as it's bigger news for them as a microcap company than it is for say, Kelloggs.
Perhaps a slip in communication between parties, and Mogul have been like "Yo, chill, we gotta do our thing first"
