Keep April 2011 in mind and trade accordingly. As soon as ambiguous political football starts you know something isn't going right.
This morning a big backer of DOW - RBS Australia - also mentioned that it is unlikely to be Dec 2010 BUT they are trying desperately to project their speculation to their clients that it won't have a negative financial effect on DOW even if it was to be delivered in APR 2011.
Wishful thinking is one thing, the reality is something totally different.
If they deliver in DEC (3 weeks away) DOW SP will be positively rewarded, if not I think there will be a small slide in the SP but not a lot. While trading DOW I am happy to collect a few hundred $$ each time I trade it. I will aim for thousands when this issue is sorted out.
You could see yesterday how quickly sentiment towards DOW SP can change upon breaking any sort of news.
If I was an investor in DOW I would not even look at the SP until mid 2011. It is highly frustrating and stressful if one does.
