Agree wrt most other areas, but no great continental mass like West/East/Central Africa.

Don't know about the Philippines or Central Australia, need to see a player who"s mgmt really inspires me, as I don"t have a geo background, and there isn"t a huge track record in those areas.

India also seems to be grossly underexplored, but I think it will be too competitive, except for those that can develop a really unique edge, or make themselves extremely attractive to Indian partners.

From what I am observing soveriegn risk seldom is that serious in real frontier areas, when the govt is desperate to attract companies, but can become a real menance when that are no longer so needed, eg Venezula.

I am also interested in BKP, already have a VERY small parcel. When to take the plunge is the key there, hard to be sure the price will take off anytime soon.

I suspect ROC will keep inching up next week, but perhaps HDR will pullback (in which case I may take a few more - ML permitting), as I reckon there's still a lot of sour momentum players holding.
