I thought that as well but no, FUEL is awesome. Ignore the current coin market cap price, the only official way to get FUEL is from the etherparty platform. It's probably just tracking OTC sales, the 24 hour volume is never over 30K, doesn't mean anything.
Another thing on FUEL. while POWR has grown to be a 1.6M dollar holding for DCC (awesome for one gig), I doubt DCC intend to use the utility token for its intended use, that is, trade peer to peer electricity. However, FUEL tokens may be valuable as a utility token to DCCs business services. If they have customers in industry wishing to build smart contracts, FUEL may come in handy. The analogy FUEL used is that "everyone uses email, but most use only through vendors such as Gmail or Outlook, not many use it at the developer level - FUEL will do the same for smart contracts". DCC may actually get some use out of the etherparty platform when building smart contracts, in which case, they have 10M tokens to spend for free!
