Encouraging interest in OptiBlend® systems continues, focused mainly on use in gensets used for back-up power, particularly in India where for a number of reasons, interest and sales are both rising.

One of those reasons could have something to do with the recent ban on the use of diesel gensets in cities like Delhi where pollution levels are becoming extreme.

With respect to doing business in India, IMO I don’t think they’ll have any problems. If Pz delivers lower cost concrete why would anyone “cut off your nose to spite your face” and risk future delivery of an additive that will ultimately same them money? This from the quarterly...
In India, flyash is readily available at a price that is typically significantly lower than the price of Portland cement, and as EdenCrete®Pz in particular may assist increase the ratio of flyash to Portland cement that can be used in any concrete mix without reducing, and in some cases increasing the performance of the concrete, it offers the potential to meaningfully reduce the cost of the concrete.

Also if they can somehow incorporate part of the EdenCrete production process in India there may be opportunities to save on labour and import taxes.
