Thanks to DayTrader for that link to the Ngebel study. It's a good overview of the technical and financial aspects of the project but in not being able to reference a comprehensive technical report it falls far short of the JORC-like standard we would expect if this was a copper or gold project.
However, it wouldn't have taken much effort from PAX to turn this into an inferred resource statement under the Australian geothermal reporting code, assuming a decent technical report exists somewhere.
Yes, there seems to have been a couple of shallow temperature holes (done before 2007 and not by PAX) which produced positive results. However, my main point is still true, I think this project is still at least four or five years away from generating income for PAX.
With my background I guess I like to see good technical reporting by companies. Unfortunately I don't yet see it with PAX (or the geothermals generally in fact).
