Thanks for this, it's really helpful. I actually specifically asked my vet if it could be a Mast Cell tumour because I had been trying to narrow down the options myself and that sounded like a possibility. She said that Mast Cell tumours are usually really easy to spot when looking at the cells from an aspiration, so it was unlikely to be that. So that lends more evidence to it being something like a melanoma. I went ahead and ordered the Zolvix so that I can start her on it right away. I may still explore further options with the vet, but I feel much better about starting her on MPL asap.
