Sorry for the delayed update. Diva completed three full days on the loading dose of MPL and was her normal self with no apparent side effects. On the fourth day (yesterday) she ate her breakfast very slowly and seemed lethargic and not her normal self. She was also unsteady on her feet for most of the day and then didn't eat much of her dinner. We ended up not giving her the third dose last night and then skipped today altogether in case it was a little too much MPL. She has been looking progressively better all day today and is bright and chirpy by tonight, although she only ate half of her dinner.

I will resume the standard 1x day dose tomorrow and hopefully her appetite will return. Interestingly, she has been coughing quite a bit less the last two days so fingers crossed that maybe that's a good sign! We are trying to keep count of how many bouts of coughing she has throughout the day. I will also try to track the other measurements as per @kpax suggestion.

I have an appointment with Dr Sonya Yu this week (the vet runnning the MPL trials) but I'm not sure whether to tell her we have Diva on the Zolvix or not. She said on the phone it sounds like Diva is probably not eligible for the trial, which I already assumed would be the case. But she is going to discuss any/all options with us.

Hi levelone,
It's been almost 2 weeks since your last progress report on Diva. I'm hoping that no news is good news.
How was your meeting with Dr. Yu? It would be interesting to know if she thought the homemade MPL treatment was appropriate for Diva's condition. Or perhaps she may have suggested a different standard of care?
Either way, the important thing is the well-being of your family dog.
