I believe that the first drill will be done on this area,the announcement I have been reading looks like a deal will be formalised in the near term.

To me I bet the main reason for the delays are due to other approaches from other interested multi nationals, and NGE are playing hard ball to get the best deal for them and in turn all shareholders.
