To those wondering if the FDA will slow down their efforts in trials for PPS in the US, there have been numerous writings about how they continue to go forth with as much intent as they planned in any testing. Of course, anything is possible, but the past has shown that if able to progress, testing should continue as planned.I will offer you today some reading about Ebola. Yes, the Ebola 2014 African outbreak. It took 6 years for the first FDA approved vaccine for the prevention of Ebola virus. (See below)The second article is more recent, less that two weeks ago! FDA approval of the First Treatment for Ebola Virus. The third is an explanation and review of how the FDA made it's recommendations regarding the Ebola virus. This will give you some insight as to how the FDA works and the amount of time it takes to fully study and prepare any drug for use for any purpose, but in this case a viral disease. 6 years time for Ebola, and we are changing protocol for Covid-19 to hope for a quicker vaccine. To be honest, I just had Covid myself, and thankfully it was a milder case. I am feeling very good, thank you. I haven't written for a while, so that explains my absence from posting on HC. But the medical inconsistencies surrounding my own case made me aware just how much we charge ahead without any standard of care. Here's an example. Here are two headlines from recent weeks :October 16, the WHO declares Remdesivir as having little or no effect on COvid-19October 22, the FDA announces Remdesivir becomes first Covid-19 treatment to receive FDA approval.Hang in there everyone. There is a lot more to be seen I fear. Stay healthy and safe, and at least now I can say that "I DO KNOW SOMEONE who had Covid."
FDA ARTICLES:First FDA-approved vaccine for the prevention of Ebola virus disease,
