It's very , very simple …. NO CUSTOMERS for the equipment or the technology, or for licences.

The "technology" (and I'm being generous here) has not, in over 25 years, been demonstrated as being commercially viable.
The equipment/technology can make modest quantities of "interesting" products but is far from being commercially attractive to potential licensees, to warrant the millions of dollars PPY are asking in license , and equipment fees.

The main problem IMHO is that banana trucks are about 90% water, and water extraction is the kicker. Always has been.
So for every 1 tonne of banana trunk that has to be sourced, cut, transported, and then "processed" then requiring significate energy and /or labour/ time to extract the 'water', the outcome is only 100Kg of fibre, which then requires FURTHER processing and conversion into cheap, throwaway food trays etc.

Its a good story - always has been - (and that why they get investors to buy in) , but if it isn't commercial then no ones going to knock the door down with wads of cash …. as evidenced by the last 25 years.

The only reason they got the Egypt operation up and running was through "mates" of Ramy, with no doubt, …… the unusual "incentives" including, giving away the PPY equipment, in return for sales commission ….. BTW none of which has yet to be seen.

PPY have survived for 25 years ENTIRELY by share sales/dilution and Govt grants
