Lynas also refers to spot prices as the benchmark in SEP QR report. Lynas will be receiving a premium to spot prices for higher purity products such as the new grades of Ce they have developed but when it comes to Lynas receiving above spot prices, it was only mentioned once briefly in the March 2017 QR.
"Lynas’ ability to offer a reliable, fully traceable and auditable source of supply is translating into Lynas achieving some margins above spot market prices with certain key customers".

Would be great if Lynas could elaborate more on their pricing mechanisms now that they are the second largest producer of NdPrO in the wolrd.
