Ah Kitty, you've put the pot back on the boil, but not an OEM, who's interests would not be aligned with SH's.
End users have no particular interest in Lynas profitability/growth, simply continuity of supply for a basic precursor.
As you suggest AL has done a superb job turning Lynas into a business, as witnessed by the FY17 results, with two key attributes, the ability to manufacture product from Mt Weld ore, and to place those products into incredibly skinny supply chains at the optimum points.
Q is, how do you leverage that from current structure? `
