Sep REE industry analysis
REE Price change to oscillate downturn trend. NDPR price dropped 9.8% from its high at 510,000/ton. Downstream demand wasn't very supportive in regarding of recent price, even suppliers willing to drop the prices.
Big groups jointly start stop production, Rising Nonferrous Metals Share Co Ltd announced close its refine and separation plant for one month (Oct 2017), as well as Southern REE producers union.
Long term REE price depends on the downstream demands.
REE index in Sep period, jump from 182.8 to 188, then drop to 175.6.
REE export figures:
China export 4185 tons Aug 2017， which is 0.4% more than Aug 2016 and 3.88% less than Jul 2017. Also China export 4,184,545 kg REE for 32,669,874 US dollars, average price at 7.81 per kg.
L-REE: PRO exported 8250 kg down 67.86% (compare to July 2017), NDO exported 52335kg up 22.2% (compare to July 2017), CeO exported 283755 kg up32.85% (compare to July 2017),
LaO exported 1271368 kg up 69.57% (compare to July 2017), EuO exported 680kg up 560.19% (compare to July 2017)
H-REE: DyO exported 23465 kg up 546.42% (compare to July 2017), YtO exported 183221 kg up 73.44% (compare to July 2017), TbO exported 3750kg down 44.25%
