CSO1 and Jack Telford are most certainly two different people, CSO1 is just a huge fan of the project, has been a long term holder and backer of this thing for too long in my opinion. Like some others his money has been tied up in this for the entire commodidity boom til now with very little appreciation of share price.
Hopefully it will pay off for him and other GIP die hards soon. At some point in the next twelve months they need to get finance or moth ball it and move on imo. Maybe this would force the Egyptians to get financially involved (surely they have some money to invest in the project if no one else will)as it is in their best interest to do so.
FINANCE WILL BE DONE BY JUNE END OR IT WILL BE MOTH BALLS, NOT AT SOME POINT AND TIME IN THE NEXT 12 MONTHS.
