Also the value attributed to the business wasn't in percentage share of NWL. They attributed a $ value ($785m) to PPS then worked out a ratio percentage of shares to make up that value (one share of NWL for every 11.96 PPS).
In that sense I don't think the share price gives the value to PPS, the cash value of the offer ($785m) does
