The Australian is reporting Turkey 8s considering whether to charge him; as well, Israel and "a number of other states" are interested in extradition. You'd assume one of those is the Assad regime in Syria.
We should wipe our hands of him and offer to assist in his extradition to Syria to face crimes, and offer to share intelligence gathered on his activities.
They will deal with him better than our limp system. We'd never hear of him again.
Otherwise, given he deserted I.S. we could help send him back there. Then some other grubs 10 y.o. son could make headlines holding up HIS head for the cameras.
We don't want him back.
