Much as I hate to side with skint on most issues, gavel, in this case I'll make an exception.
Your comment asserting that the"root cause is known to be genetic predisposition" reveals not only your profound ignorance of AD, the biggest risk factor for which is advancing age, but also of modern medicine in general via an equally incorrect implication that there are no effective therapies for disease that ARE genetically predetermined (type 2 diabetes, haemochromatosis, cystic fibrosis, etc,etc).
Although I've declared my scepticism before in this forum about the prospects of a cure, I do believe that disease modifying drugs hold promise as preventive agents.
Have bought back in at these prices in anticipation of the current placement presaging the announcement of the definitive pase 2 trial that has been long awaited.
