This statement is not quite correct by my interpretation. I read that it is intended to treat sub-clinical mastitis as an alternative to antibiotics. Not active, clinical, mastitis. i.e. not therapeutic.
There is a big difference between sub-clinical mastitis and clinical mastitis.
