Thanks for your reply, it makes sense. Not sure what you meant by the above though, it was a simple question as to why 'most' farmers wouldn't use best practise to maximise their profits. You did mention 'most', so I was a little bit shocked that this would be the case. And yes as you would have gathered, I am a 'city person' :-)
