GC,take it from one who knows,dairy farmers are the last people on earth one would call lazy!

Many spend 8 hours every day in the milking shed alone.

Then there are calves to be fed,fences mended,hay and silage to make,weeds eradicated-it never ends.

Mastitis is a fact of life in the large herd, intensive,modern dairy industry especially just after calving, and by and large well controlled 'in the shed'.

I don't know a cockie who wouldn't embrace drenching as a means to reduce the incidence of mastitis in their herds.

Thats the thing about this tough breed,they work damn hard for their money AND they do know the value of a buck.
