What is the daily wage for a driller in Aus for a 12 hour shift 7 days a week (13 days on/1 off)... $400 - $600 per day for land surface drilling? So on the low end $11,200 per mth not including penalaty rates and holidays.

In Indonesia it will cost around 4-8m IDR per month maximum and that is at the very high end. Equates to around 285,714IDR per day or $30AUD a day or $840AUD p/mth.

What the rig will cost I am not sure, but sure as eggs it is a lot lower than Aus rates.

$400,000 here is like $4m in Aus, why do you think expats like it so much here. Certainly not the smog,earthquakes, demonstrations, bombings or the traffic...
