In pre-open, a number of shares have buy and sell prices that cross each other. Then, when the stock opens it all gets resolved.
Can someone explain how the ASX attains the price?
For example, I put in a sell order for .82. There was a buy for .84. It got sold at .84.
Another stock this morning. Buy order at .76, .75, .74. Sell orders from .73 up. It all got resolved at .74
Please explain?
