It's interesting how the sell depth (currently at 260K) often falls dramatically away on close only to magically double or triple on open. It was over 750K during the afternoon. Maybe these "sellers" are nervous about leaving their orders on after the close in case the markets spike and on open their orders are filled.
We will no doubt see the sell orders replenish on Monday morning.
