Exactly Timrodman.
Just making use of charts without understanding fundamentals, without understanding quarterly reports, annual reports, balance sheets, economics, etc. is the lazy or ignorant person's way of thinking they can make easy money playing the stockmarket.
These people are in all walks of life. Like punters who rely on betting systems for backing horses, but do not know the first thing about form analysis and what odds should be obtained about the horses they back.
Just as there are plenty of mug punters, there are plenty of mug sharetraders. And plenty post here with their "expert" comments.
