Q: There are recent reports doing the rounds that you might complete three overseas acquisitions this year itself. Give us an update on what exactly these acquisitions would consist of and how much have you lined up?
A: An acquisition of an Australian company, Legacy Iron Ore, has taken place and two more acquisitions are lined up. We are going to discuss these acquisitions of two more projects today and we will get to know in the evening what is the collective decision of the board on the same. If we get board clearance, we shall be taking the next step for negotiating and forming the total acquisition. We are working on it and I am sure that by December we should be in a position to acquire at least four properties abroad.
so that was yesterday - meaning that last night the board of NMDC was discussing moving forward with the agreement!
