Just read the news.
Firstly I feel Malta hasn't been factored into PCL's price for many a year due to the lack of action since 2005, so even losing the leases shouldnt affect the price.
What may effect the price is as others have mentioned, the up coming legal fees if they do decide to fight it, which the ann states they will be.
I agree ozgem they will need to have a decent look to see if its worth the battle with interest hotting up elsewhere in Africa. Obvious the Libyan and Tunisian fields are close by and if they think its going to be worth the fight I'll be happy to support them.
Basically they have been fighting over where the Maltan- Libyan border is drawn in the water, which just happens to run right through area 5. Area 4 block 3 lies in Maltan waters.
