Yes, I like the sound of that too, Sle. Here's the complete text:
1 February 2005 Company Announcement
Patent Granted for Liver Regeneration Agent
The Directors of Solagran Limited are pleased to announce that the Company has recently received confirmation from the Russian Agency for Patent and Trademarks (RAPT) that it has been granted a new patent for the use of Bioeffective R (plant polyprenols) as a liver regeneration agent.
The patent is entitled “An Agent for Stimulating the Processes of Natural Liver Regeneration.” It has a priority date of 29 October 2003 and was granted on 11 January 2005. The granting of this patent confirms Bioeffective R’s capacity to regenerate damaged hepatic framework (stroma) while maintaining the normal size of the liver – without the accompanying pathological growth of non-functional fibrotic (scar) tissue.
This patent signals the acceptance and the importance of Solagran’s new findings in relation to treating serious liver abnormalities.
The patent also establishes Solagran’s leadership position in relation to the technology for manufacture, and the medical applications, of polyprenols. As such, it will facilitate their commercialisation as Bioeffective R in Russia prior to a global rollout.
Peter Stedwell, Director
On behalf of the Board of Directors Solagran Limited
