re: errr ! oil ? errr ! oil ? hooter I think the answer is that they dont know yet. The upper zone is 45m, no water contact, the lower zone sounds like they havn't completed logs, but there is oil there in thin sands over a large total (150m) zone. The oil sounds like good quality.
The result is bloody good if you ask me and may get better. It proves that the play works, that the seals are functional and that there is good oil there. It opens up a complete second province for HDR and significantly derisks the company.
In my view, anyone who sells at the moment is nuts.
