ASX ANNOUNCEMENT
Argonaut Resources NL (ASX: “ARE”) is pleased to advise that preliminary, incomplete
results for the Company’s first drillhole at the Kroombit zinc-copper deposit in Central
Queensland were advised to Argonaut at 11.50am EST today.
KRRC1 was drilled to a depth of 200m as part of the confirmatory drilling program at
Kroombit tenements ML5631 and EPM15705. This program is designed to confirm the
presence of zinc and copper mineralisation reported in holes drilled at Kroombit during the
1960s and 1970s.
These results indicate the following intersections in the first Argonaut hole KRRC1:
�� KRRC1: 7m at 3.7% zinc from 16m
�� KRRC1: 9m at 7.1% zinc from 33m
�� KRRC1: 19m at 4.26% zinc from 46m
The results from three contiguous samples between 42m and 45m in hole KRRC1 were
not available at the time of compiling this report. These results may improve the intercepts
quoted above.
The Company expects results from the balance of 715 samples from the first batch over
the next three to four days with the remaining 775 samples to be received in
approximately two weeks.
