GOLD play Integra Mining's shares rose 8.76% to an intra morning high of 50c, on the company's reported discovery of three new gold prospects at its Aldiss-Randalls project, near Kalgoorlie in Western Australia.
Assays from an aircore drilling program around the Salt Creek gold deposit completed in November and December last year have identified Mohegan, Salt Creek South and Lucky Bay North prospects.
Better results from the program were 2m at 22.61 grams per tonne gold from 52m, and 4m at 3.46gpt from 52m.
The assays are supported by gold anomalism at lower grades and larger widths in adjacent holes.
Integra has allocated $A16 million for infill drilling and regional exploration, to upgrade its global resource base at the project.
The new prospects will be the focus of the 2008 regional exploration program.
Earlier this month, Integra reported a 38% global resource increase at Aldiss-Randalls to 1.6 million ounces of contained gold.
The company said it aims to achieve a resource estimate of 2-2.2Moz contained gold by the end of the year, with 1Moz of the estimate mineable via openpit.
Integra's share price was hovering at 50c in late morning trade.
