Well - strictly speaking it's a possibility, but the gearing levels are low enough, it would require very dramatic reductions in book values in order to reach that position.

This market has me beat. For several of my stocks, the anticipation of bad news has caused sp to drop 50%, then when the announcement is made, even if it's MUCH better than expected, it drops another 50%.

Seems like the big boys just want this to drop, regardless of reality.

As I've said before, the whole GFC has be puzzled too. So many people running around like headless Chicken Littles, yet when I look around me, life continues EXACTLY as before for the vast majority of people.

I think to work in the Finance industry, or Journalism, primary qualification is to be a lemming.
