As for other drones, most widely advertised is Lilycam, been big (huge, in fact they had $35million in pre-orders) over here in north america, not sure what the exposure is like in Australia. As for all the others, most are not planning to be on market until 2017/2018 so not really going to impact this phase.
It's a different market though and different price range, so take from that what you will. It's aimed at more of the sports (snowboarding, biking, kayaking etc) filming and following type thing, than the photos and holiday shots type thing.
I haven't seen a spec sheet on the IOT device but have heard around here it has anti collision, can anyone link me to where that has been said/how it is achieved?
