Was doing a quick check on the Tmall stores, and was surprised to see that this ASIN:

... had a huge spike of 2,000 units sold in the last week or so. Looks like it's a combination of recommendation (by Nicole - whoever that is), and also a snap sale... Goes to show how much opportunity China can bring in the blink of an eye and with the right levers being pulled.

Another interesting thing that I found in my travels, was the number of 'followers' each of the Tmall stores has - thought I'd share as it's quite interesting - see below:
