I respect your sanguine and realistic approach, theoc. But I've seen this happen s-o-o-o- many times in stocks I've held that have had sterling prospects and have had their s.p shattered in an attempt to either put them out of business or make them an el cheapo t/o target. e.g UNS-[Unilife].It made retractable syringes-invented by a local Morpeth engineer.Cut out needle-stick injuries completely. The company left the ASX and got listed on the Nasdaq. Gone in a couple of years after shareholders had filled CR after CR to build a factory and clean rooms. As well as pay for a design team to make bespoke retracts for Big Pharma clients who gave m.o.u.'s to buy them. Having done that, they then held off buying until they shorted the buggery out of the s.p and then bought everything at basement prices after the company collapsed. Then there was VLA [Viralytics]. The University of Newcastle developed a coxsackie cold virus[ No comments please fb and Lowkey] to take on and eliminate various kinds of hard -to- treat cancers.Again shareholders raised the money to pay for development and trials-which were overwhelmingly successful. After each announcement of a successful trial-guess what?-the share price went down. The company managed to hang on and the company was taken over/ bought out by Big Pharma for about $1.78 per share at a time when previously a less successful anti-cancer treatment was bought for $5 per share.Has anyone heard of any later trials and manufacture of these successful anti-cancer treatments? I haven't.And probably wont, until Big Pharma has recouped the money spent on other less effective drugs. Finally,on my list there is Eden Innovations[EDE]. We read articles extolling the capture of CO2 to cut out global warming as something which will happen in the future.Well EDE has had a process converting methane[global warming gas] into hydrogen and carbon nano tubes- since at least 2015. They're used as an additive to strengthen concrete requiring less use of it.It also makes the use of Fly ash in concrete mixture, much more viable and effective.Holcim has now taken a real interest in the product and is effectively using Edencrete in its international operations. Again, shorting as a share price manipulation tool, was employed against it. In addition there is a interminable troll campaign on the EDE forum which has been going on daily for at least four years. It has withstood the onslaught because the directors-solicitors -have virtually taken no directors fees out of the business for years-only legals. Has anyone here had Metal Storm shares? That's a classic example.
I'm now seeing the same 'modus operandi' at work in HRZ. And I'm fed up to the back teeth with it.It's totally illegal yet, for some reason ASIC doesn't give a damn. In fact, ASIC is as useless as tits on a bull as far as I can tell. Whether one cares to or not,it will be up to retail shareholders to get together and do something about it. Otherwise, in due course HRZ will be taken over for peanuts.
