I agree with you Amb.

Hindsight is a marvelous concept. TA is beneficial for day trading. Long term... Not so much. It's far too hard to include any accurate consideration for the markets (retail and institutional) reaction to KPI's or Milestones being achieved or not being met.

If those on Wall Street had used a little less TA and a little more theoretical understanding of the 'markets' before and during the GFC, they wouldn't have lost nearly as much money as they did. TA works in a perfect world. However, we do not live in one. Got to love hindsight right?
