Some more clarity on one being confident of there position, is in no way to claim it on their own merits, all I can credit myself for, is putting in the time, no more and no less, and believing truth 100% would come, before asking for it, and never letting that though go.

Matt 7:13,14 - Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many.
For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few.
Clearly, to be as per "Most" as you put it, is NOT a wise position to take.
Obviously He pulls that quote from another Book that never made our Bibles, and the term "hard" there, underscores it, compared to the other Book.
And not to mention, from my own experiences, it has been a tough road, and most of that has been from absolute despicable, outright mean and nasty people, calling you a mental case, demon possessed, disgusting writer, you name it, everything under the sun and they have the cheek to call themselves Christian's, of which based on their own errors, they don't even qualify for the Title of Christian.
And ATM, these are the ones professing this and that in the Son's name, who he says I never knew you, linked to Rev 19:12,13 to John 1:1 and 2 Thes 2:1-13
And the sad part is, or perhaps stupid part is, I have only being doing it for others, perhaps deluded in thinking, they may like TRUTH, but no, apparently that is a dirty word, promote it, and you are deemed all sorts.
