I agree having read the OSH report that they are looking for an acquisition in the area HZN holds the Stanley fields...
Read below and with the share price increasing and major shareholder buying more they are the only ones who can block a bid, that and the fact that the convertable notes have a 40.9 US cent conversion price.
Not sure but assume the major holder of the notes is the biggest shareholder?
Anyone know that for sure?

*DJ Oil Search CEO: Oil Price May Create Acquisition Opportunities
SYDNEY--Lower oil prices have opened the door for Oil Search Ltd. to assess acquisition
opportunities, potentially including Talisman Energy Inc.'s gas fields in Papua New
Guinea, chief executive Peter Botten said Tuesday.
"Currently there's a range of assets in the Western Province that may be of
interest, but it'll come down to timing and price," Mr. Botten said in an
interview.
The Australian company last year bid more than $US300 million to buy the Papua New
Guinea assets from Talisman, in a move that could accelerate an expansion of the Pacific
nation's flagship gas-export facility, people familiar with the matter said in
December.
Later in December, Talisman became the subject of an $US8.3 billion takeover bid from
Spain's Repsol SA that is expected to receive final regulatory approvals by June.
"If you have a strong balance sheet you may have the opportunity to re-calibrate
your portfolio, but you have to be prepared to stand back and be very measured and
patient," Mr. Botten said.
He added that if potential bidders expected oil prices to remain low for a sustained
period, it could make sense to wait a little longer before contemplating any bids.
Oil Search could add Talisman's natural-gas reserves in the flat western region of
Papua New Guinea to its own P'nyang discovery in the densely forested highlands
area. A deal may help Oil Search secure enough gas to justify a new pipeline and
processing unit at the $US19 billion PNG LNG export plant operated by Exxon Mobil Corp.
Interesting times awaut, either way HZN at these levels is a great buy.
