Maybe brokers churning shares to suppress the price in the hope that they can pick up shares from some frustrated punters selling out.

Most sell orders are small value, well under a thousand shares, and appear very rapidly. I use Commsec and if you click refresh data every few seconds you'd be surprised at how quickly the sell orders appear, and small value buy orders for that matter. Algorithmic trading: computers running the show.

Then again, I might be wrong.

yes someone churning shares, all day bids to buy 2850 shares and bids to sell 2850 shares at different values. i count 50 transactions at 2850 shares today probably more when you take in partly filled orders, and this 2850 shares i have noticed on other days. look tommower and i bet you will see 2850
