i may be wrong regarding the limitations on companies in regards to buying or selling so near a report date, but im pretty sure the directors cannot buy or sell this close to the financials.
Thats because, supposedly they know more than the general market and should not be permitted to act with that advantage.
Perhaps the company itself has similar restrictions. Maybe they cant announce a buy back until after their results are released.
