My car mechanic thinks otherwise - he wants to get his clients (me) to fix all the problems he finds in one visit and use SplitIt to help the customer pay over time. He said the extra $30 merchant fee for every $1000 of income is well worth it. He said people don't like the inconvenience of having to drop the car off and arrange pickup multiple times because they simply cannot afford one larger than expected repair bill. Spreading the cost over many months, interest free for the customer is what he wanted.
