Didnt we have a large block trade where a holder loans thier shares to a shorter for a fee to cover their position? It wouldnt surprise me if that happened again. The large holder still retains the shares and gets a nice payday for loaning them out. So that would make it harder for a gamestop scenario where the share price runs away from the shorters. I dont agree with shorting just trying to figure out if this run is all about short coverings, or lithium price rebounding a little or a bit of both. Last time it got into low 4’s then crashed back to u der $3.50. Missed that potential trade.
