This is my first post on Hot Copper . I've been following all your posts on CAJ as I've been very interested on the financial news for this company . That's how I found out about this forum . I've learn't so much , reading all your posts . Thankyou !!
All of your posts are in my opinion a reasonable sample of the herd .
I'm approx 50% down on my holdings of CAJ . Not a happy camper !!!
My early holdings showed good returns . I topped up on the share issue for their purchase in NSW .
Everything was going great . CAJ was a darling of the market .
Then came the news of the Integral IPO with a UBS comment on valuation at PE of approx 18 .
CAJ had a PE approx twice as much or more .
There was also news of an iMed IPO looming . A much bigger float .
Around this time came the news of the Medicare Review with comments concerning DI etc and possible GP over testing on patients . Awaiting the results of the review is increasing regulatory uncertainty .
I ask myself why did I buy CAJ ?
I'm an investor in fundamentally financially strong companies in medium / long term growth industries . Healthcare is one of these . CAJ is a profitable company
While the SP short term decline is concerning , as it's been very dramatic , on recent guidance , I'm not panicking as I perceive the herd is panicking .
