re: anna - prediction Thank you for the response.
I understand your points and concur with a lot of them.
Where we possibly differ is in the "What do we do about it"
We all have our own opinions and the comments made are generally taken from the extreme viewpoint.
I honestly believe that the majority see only the surface.
We are inundated with the catch cries...'hit 'em first', or 'don't get involved it isn't our fight' or 'if they hit us hit 'em back twice as hard'.
We all know there is no absolute, we believe that we are free thinking but have been brainwashed since the day we were born.
We split our planet into sectors (read as teams) some of these sectors are named after something we call religions.
At the head of these sectors is the leader. All sectors refer to him as the only true god (in these teams he is a non playing coach) but thankfully he on our side.
What were once god fearing nations now claim 'in god we trust'.
The sectors are made up of gladiators who will fight to the death for their religion for we no longer fear god...the ante has been raised...death is inevitable so life after death will be joyous if we follow the captains orders. The captain knows god...and in god we trust.
We as a human race will never stop being gladiators...the 'civilized' world attempt to control this primal instinct by competition in life, the work place and in sport. The last 2 somehow seem to have become one now.
Anna, it is sad, we as a race need to conquer and control, we use any means at our disposal to achieve our goals.
The UN is a toothless tiger because true democracy is not achievable and they can't be dictatorial in a world that demands democracy.
So for there to be order in the world there must be a dominant force. Force and fear together contol the world. It doen't matter if you have multiculturalism or not. The world would have come to us even if we remained anglo saxen Australia.
Imagine all the hotcopperites together in one place. Verbal jousting would soon turn into blood letting yet we are the civilized ones.
I think there may also be some differing political persuasions also. (can you believe that? Some people didn't vote for Big John Howard last election?)
So what do we do about it?
Understand what we are...seek the path of compassion...but know deep down we are gladiators and we want to be in control. We must choose the team we wish to be on or a team will be chosen for you.
Better to choose the team that supports your out look and way of life.
The above points are not stated in disagreement to any of the points you raised, merely my own musings.
cheers
